Backdrop

After yesterday's fence painting marathon, I was awake in the early hours with an aching right arm and couldn't get back to sleep so read and finished my latest book which did the trick. No plan to do anything major today, there was more reading of a new book, some of it in the garden, a couple of little work jobs, the ironing, a good catch up with the bestest friend and not a lot else. A blip was required at the end of the day and the garden obliged. I had thought that this rose hadn't survived the winter but it is more than showing signs of life and now has a good backdrop.
