Paper Whites

There has been a nasty chemical smell reminiscent of cat urine, lurking around the house the past couple of days. We have closely inspected the cats and haven't seen anyone behaving badly.

Last night Tom found the culprit... the paper whites a friend gave me for Christmas that have just bloomed. Boy do they smell NASTY!

This morning they were playing havoc with my allergies and giving me a headache, so I took a quick photo of them in all their glory and then put them out on the porch.

What a shame :(
