Offcuts

On our walk on the golf course yesterday we found that several trees  had been trimmed and the resulting branches lying around waiting to be cleared. I was saddened to see that the cherries were still in flower so I picked two sprays of the least-wilted blossom to bring home.

They were a bit lonely in the vase so they were joined by a couple of sprays of Spiraea bridal wreath and of Pieris.
