AN UNEXPECTED VISITOR.

After a leisurely afternoon and enjoyable jug of Pimms I came in to put a chicken in the oven.  Suddenly knocking on the window I was alerted by Mr A to this slow worm/snake that had suddenly appeared on the terrace.

We have no idea where it came from and it certainly moved quickly as he picked it up to avoid Oscar or Shelley playing with it.  It was about 25cms  long but where to put it?  We decided round the back of the craft room would be the safest place.  I hope it found where it wanted to be!

Much cooler this morning (Monday) and a promise of rain from tomorrow.  Well we certainly need it.  I have raspberry flowers already and strawberries growing too.

Stay safe everyone as we endure another week of isolation.  Matthew will be 37 on Wednesday and it will be the first birthday without us.  It will be very difficult.  Sending love as there isn't enough in the world. xxxxx
