Koningsdag

Kingsday in the Netherlands is usually celebrated with various festivities, including the free markets, music festivals and the wearing of orange clothing, throughout the whole country. Every year the king goes with his family to a city to experience the festivities. Maastricht was planned for this year but was cancelled. Everything was cancelled in the entire country.

I never celebrate kings day, but like to wear my orange t-shirt, raise the flag and eat orange food.
This year I watched the king made his speech in the morning and also watched the meeting on Zoom (or something like Zoom) of the king and his family. I think it was touching.
