I did indeed manage to summon up the enthusiasm to go to Aldi to get the ingredients required for the Greggs sausage / bean / cheese bake. The puff pastry was the hardest thing to find and in the end I had to engage with one of their staff. “Over there, by the bottled water, mate”. Of course it is. But it was.

Aldi was a much better experience than the last time I went about 2 weeks ago. It was grim then, still grim, but on a lesser scale of grimness.
