All The Blooms Are Brown ....

.... and the sky is grey.

The long run of blue lockdown skies is at an end. The lakeside flowering cherry blossom is going brown. The mallards are still ducking and diving.

I've been keeping a close eye out for green nettle weevils recently as I have a soft spot for them. I hadn't been able to find a single one until today when they were suddenly everywhere. I got some reasonable shots but have decided to wait to post one until the sunshine returns. My pics today didn't show off their lovely metallic sheen.
