Budding Sycamore

I have always been a sucker for budding sycamore trees. I just like the way you can see the tightly compressed leaves emerging and the subtle pink and green tones of the buds. This series of macro images were taken on a miniature sycamore in our garden which seems to have come into to bud at least month or so later than the normal trees outside.
