Cows in the field

For the first time this year the farmer from the farm opposite  has put the cows into the field at the back of our house. An exciting day we wait for each year. At the moment he has used an electric fence to limit them to only part of the field, so we will have to wait until tomorrow for them to poke their heads inquisitively over our wall hopefully without being to eat any plants. They will annoy (scare) our dog, however.
A second day with some rain which is very much needed as the ground is very dry and dusty.
