The Daily Walk 56.333

Today’s walk took Mrs CBL and I up to Slains Castle for the first time in ages.  The sun shone brightly but as, almost always, there was blustery wind to go along with it.

Extras show a photo of the Kilmarnock Arms Hotel in the village.  It was here that Bram Stoker stayed during the summer for several years.  In 1895 whilst staying there he began writing ‘Dracula’ inspired in part by his visits to the castle.
