Observations in time

Springfield Woods path

This was today's walk from the A91 through Cuparmuir and the Golf Course past Stratheden, along Springfield Woods to Springfield and home via Russell Mains.
We had the best of the weather this morning and enjoyed our daunder. The Lomonds are only wee hills but they are so distinctive that I have come to love them. We can see this one from our bedroom window which fills me with pleasure.

I enjoyed this afternoon starting to learn piano again after about 55 years and then joining Gareth Malone at 17.30 as usual for our dose of the Great British Home Chorus. He's a cracking lad and I know that music is keeping a lot of people entertained and sane at the moment.

My dear friend is going spare about her mum who was admitted last evening by blue light ambulance with sepsis-after two A&E visits in the previous 36 hours following which she was told not to come back again unless she was breathless (i.e. displaying symptoms of Covid 19) I know resources are stretched but if N hadn't garnered the support of the practice nurse and GP this could have had a very different outcome. She's still not out of the woods either.
