A quite messy day yesterday with 12 hrs of rain and for most of it, no electricity or water.

Egypt without sun, is cold, very cold and with rain? It's painful, it gets into your bones and is hard to shake off. Floods in the streets of Luxor and streets on the West Bank, resembled Glastonbury Festival - A complete mudfest!

Today, the sun is back, the streets are drying and we all feel a little warmer.

Down at the Nile, it's wonderful, as the early evening clouds, sweep in from the Western Desert, as if pulling a blanket over us all for the evening...It's going to be a great sunset!
