Gumnut Flowers

These were in a neighbour's yard.
It was blowing a gale and I would have liked to reach over the fence, break off a sprig, take it home and do something interesting with it.
I knew someone was home, so in the interests of good neighbourly relations, I resisted.

These are a gorgeous pale pink, so have posted the original in extras, so you can see just how perverse I am:))

Today is the first day we are allowed to go visiting.
No more than two adults per household, so I'm off to visit my son and daughter in law.

Today Scott Morrison gave the country an early mark because we "have earned it" with national cabinet bringing forward its decision on whether to relax restrictions to next Friday. Lockdown life, as we've known it, might just be starting to fade. 

Shops are reopening, sport is around the corner and visits to nursing homes are on the horizon. Why not toast the news with two friends you can now invite over (in real life)?
