May Flowers

I missed Flower Friday, so here is a collage of our garden flowers for
 Sunny Saturday.
Not quite sitting out weather in our garden though as there is a chilly breeze.
Still lovely to sit inside with the sun streaming through the windows.

I forgot to say how much we enjoyed the Yorkshire asparagus.
It was grown at Lodge Farm, Helperby, Nr Thirsk.
The farmer was on TV about 10 days ago, saying the crop would be wasted as he couldn't get anybody to pick it.  Thankfully he must have  managed to get pickers.
It will certainly be on my shopping list for next week.

Had a long chat with our friends in Cornwall.
They are in lockdown as B is on the " At risk" list due to his bad asthma.
However they too are being well looked after by all the family, and are keeping cheerful.  R said it was nice to hear a Yorkshire voice!

We are still hoping to be able to go down to Cornwall in mid. September.  
Should have been going up to Scotland in 10 days time, but obviously has been cancelled, like so many other things.
