From the Summit

One of the advantages of 'virtual mountaineering' is that one can 'climb' any mountain, anywhere - thanks to the Internet, our Treadmill (and Photoshop).
After 'conquering' Ben Nevis me and Mrs MD decided to investigate Mountains of the USA.
We have a very good friend and fellow Blipper 'Legacy' who lives in Washington State, near the Canadian border, so we looked for a mountain around there.
We found Mount Pilchuck a1,628m (5,341 ft) peak in Snohomish County.
Today we reached the summit which - as you can see - had rather wonderful and far reaching views.
After all the excitement of Transatlantic travel I think we will look for a mountain closer to home for our next target :-)
