Peony Envy

A quick phone photograph.  I am so envious.  The garden where I am working has three peonies and they are all about to burst open.  Mine is still only three inches tall.  I know it is a different variety because mine is white but I am so envious.  I have been watering mine in an attempt to encourage  it to grow but I am impatient to see it looking like this.because it has never flowered since I bought it.
