Day Forty; A different corona

Back to work today, with multiple zoom meetings, and trying to sort out fairly the workload for the consultants. One is on leave and in the two and a half days since then we have admitted more patients than in the previous week. Had it sorted by the end of the day.

The day dawned calm and sunny, although lots of clouds. The rain came bucketing down a number of times during the day, and was then once again sunny on my ride home, and subsequent half hour walk with my camera. I changed from the biggest lens on the Pentax to a 50-200 one. Got my  photo for the day from Great North Road.

Today is the 40th day of lockdown, and New Zealand had our first day without any new cases since mid March. A hopeful sign that the virus may be contained. No more deaths attributed to the virus, leaving the count at 20.
