Green-veined white

A sparse day on the butterfly front with just Red Admiral, Holly Blue and Green-veined White. When the characteristic pattern on the underwing isn't visible the Green-veined White can be distinguished from other Whites by observing the dark patches on the tips of the forewings which are broken up into individual chevrons (compare it with the Large White here: https://www.blipfoto.com/entry/2698611671869426816

In France this species is known as "La Piéride du navet". Although I have seen it flying around fields of turnips, the name seems a little ungainly.
