Holding On

Most of the leaves have fallen off the trees in the neighbourhood, but these ones on this Poplar are still hanging on.  I had a lovely walk by the lake first thing, then after lunch walked up the hill to Mt Aspiring Road.  A change of scenery.  Stopped and talked to 2 couples I know, one from Senior Net, the others from Church.  Lovely to catch up with them all.  Must say it is pretty cold, +9C.  So I have had the fire going all day, so am snug and warm.
