Chivo chair

This little chair is 12 inches high and is made of cactus wood and goat skin. We bought it when we lived in Venezuela in 1965-66 and daughter Anna was a toddler. We brought it home with us and in due course son J used it too. Too small to sit on, it was more often used as a stool so that they could see what I was doing on the kitchen worktop. It is well worn and well loved.
A fine day today, but we have been indoors. An email from a friend prompted us to hunt through a box of old photographs. Lots of memories.
