Flowers Everywhere

Front garden flowers ..new ones every day. Soon there will be yellow, scented roses in contrast with the purple and rusty reds.

Zoom book club tonight. We are discussing A Man called Ove by Frederik Backman. A gentle story!
The Dutch House by Ann Patchett won hands down from the books I offered. So that's what we will be reading this month.

Last night we said Good bye to some favourite TV characters....Carrie and Saul from Homeland after we have stuck with them (yes even through the rubbish series 3 and 4).

Then Marianne and Connell in Normal People who we've only known on screen for the last week. Good luck in the future to the young actors who played the characters so brilliantly. And well done to the little town of Tubbercurry, Co Sligo used for location shooting. Didn't spot my relatives but suspect they were somewhere around!
