Sherpa Snail-Zing

The summit of The Gatepost is about 2.1m above C- level (carpark level).  It’s taken about 4 days to traverse the overhang.  I worry about what will happen when he finally makes it.  

Will he plant a wee flag and make a speech about doing this on behalf of Snail-kind?  Or will the blackbird nesting near the other end of the wall, get him before he makes it to the summit?

 But I’m getting ahead of myself.  Unlike him.  


I will return to document the progress of this mighty mollusc as he continues his ascent of The Gatepost.  Suddenly my lockdown has purpose.
