Wide Wednesday

"Best laid plans..." 

I thought I'd kill two birds with one stone and give my car a good run - I hadn't used it for three weeks - to the loch while treating myself to a lovely long walk with a change of scenery.

I checked online that the carpark at Milarrochy was open - yes! yay! - and headed off, only to find that the gates were in fact firmly locked. (I had a sinking feeling that might be the case when I passed Balmaha and noticed the carpark there closed.)

So much for my lochside walk, but at least I stopped twice on the way back - see extra - to bag some different views and I walked a regular route round the village when I got back.
