Floral beauty

It was such beautiful weather here today - blue skies but not too hot . We sat by the Abbey for a good half hour watching the swifts which must have returned in the last few days - wonderful birds !  Little squeaks as they swooped over us !

We sat in the garden this afternoon and it was so peaceful- I was crocheting and Paul was manfully colouring in bunting which I had printed off with Union jacks on them !! Apparently my colouring didn’t pass mustard !
