Ahoy there

We chose a different route for our walk this evening, up the hill and then across the very strange "hole" in the centre of Almuñecar, full of chirimoya trees. Eventually this takes you to the Rio Seco and out to the beach. On the way we passed this house, an Almuñecar landmark for obvious reasons. Walking down the Rio Seco we saw S and B, whom I initially didn't recognise because they were wearing masks, so we had a shouted conversation across the riverbed. Last seen at the International Women's Day weekend. Those were the days, when you could freely socialise.

Still, the next phase of lockdown starts on 11 May, as Sanchez managed to win the vote despite the political posturing from the right. Theoretically, some bars might be open! At greatly reduced capacity, and only the terraces. And you can only share a table with people you live with. More shouted conversations may be in order.
