Life goes on

After the Golden Week holiday the city is pretty much back to normal.

At lunchtime I scooted to the supermarket to pick up some lunch. As I was standing in the queue I realized, to my horror, that I was the only person in the shop not wearing a face mask. Always popular in Japan, the face mask is now a required accessory and I had left mine on my desk at work.
