Lockdown Day 45 - "Meeting' the New Parents

I make no excuses for the quality of image as we got together with other family members via Zoom to meet our new great nephew.  He was exceptionally well behaved during more than an hour of love, laughter and general excitement over this four day old baby.

In many ways this unusual situation allows the new parents to have precious time together, undisturbed, to bond with this precious little bundle.  While there is provision for paternity leave in our modern society, lockdown will allow for an extended time together which I am sure will benefit this young child in the years to come.

Of course, we would all love to be able to visit and hold him now, but that isn't to be.  It will make that opportunity all the more precious when it can happen..............
