Baby Banksia

My good friend Sue called by this afternoon on her way home from Gulgong and we decided we do the circuit out to the lookouts on Wombat Hollow.  I had walked right past this exquisite baby banksia flower, but Sue spotted it sitting all by itself looking quite lonely.  It was a glorious day today and once again I headed out to Hargraves early this morning.  A bonus today because I was able to stand at the lookout and watch the sun coming up in the east at almost the same time the moon was setting in the west.  I’ve attached a panoramic taken with my iPhone.  The moon was quite pale by this stage but at least it gives you the idea.  You may have to search for it :)
