a lo-VE-ly day

Remembering all those lost and all the sacrifices made - 75 years ago today.

Scorching sunshine all day today so have been taking things easy. No street party locally but lots of bunting out which has been nice to see.

Spent the afternoon reading in a shady spot which meant I got to see the pair of goldfinches that are now making regular visits to the sunflower feeder! Have also been playing hide and seek with the bunny - he is a master of hiding away and causing me panic a few times each day when he finds a new hiding spot! I need to put a collar with a bell on him I think, or attach a balloon to him to keep track of his whereabouts!
