Clematis season...

...is in full bloom. Blipped on my way to Morningside Cemetery, one of my current favourite haunts. I've got an extra photo of a tree in blossom which I'm very fond of, although it does look better in real life. If you look carefully you can see the corner of a rainbow as thanks to the NHS in one of the windows, a very common sight at the moment.

Today I spent several pleasant hours watching some of the events in the Big Book Weekend, a free online literary festival. I will certainly miss the Edinburgh Book Festival (and all the other Edinburgh festivals which have been cancelled), so it was good to get something that was a bit of a substitute. I'm not sure I will manage quite as much over the next two days, though!
