On Guard

Eastern Bluebird NestBox Update:
Yesterday when I checked, their four bright blue eggs hadn't hatched. All day the 'Parents To Be' busied themselves bringing insects to the nest box. See the * extras...for a shot of the male with a cricket in his beak. This morning their routine changed! They seemed very concerned and kept ducking into the box to check on their emerging family. I heard the chick's tiny voices peeping and I think maybe they were hatching at that very moment! I put some dried mealworms out for the parents, and left them alone. I'll try to get some shots of the little ones tomorrow, since I don't want to disturb the new family anymore today.
I do hope that you are all well and at Peace.
