A bit Heath Robinson

Saturday 9th May 2020

The thing about lockdown is, when something breaks you can't just jump in your car and go and replace it. The other week the welding joint on one of the legs of my ironing board broke but I still managed to balance the board. However, today the other one broke and the board was no longer attached to the legs.

So, in the lockdown fashion of repairs I found two old snooker cues, an old plant stand and some gaffer tape and tried to secure the legs and make a platform to put the board on. I was quite pleased with the result as it was quite sturdy. Unfortunately not quite sturdy enough to hold the board.

Hmm ... perhaps I'd better order a new one after all.
