Peerd van Ome Loeks

A 3D printed version of the statue Peerd van Ome Loeks. The real statue is in front of the Groningen Central train station. It was made by Jan de Baat. The name of the statue refers to a folk song with the same name. The song is in the Groningen dialect and both the statue and the song are symbols of Groningen. I found this 3D model on Thingiiverse.

Today is Mother’s Day. Of course Martine received breakfast in bed and the girls got her some nice presents. In the afternoon, we visited Martine’s parents. A bit weird with the social distancing and all, but it worked nicely and we had a good time.
