PORTRAIT OF A HERON.......

..... of the White faced variety!

After our Photo Group meeting on Zoom this morning, which went well I had a few things to catchup on and then the shopping.

On the way back called by the Lagoon and found this Heron pointing to the sky here on Flickr. It then decided to pose for this portrait shot and I liked the dappled light hi lighting it's face.

Also found this Purple Swamphen feeding along the edges.
