Technique Refinement

One of Mrs madwill’s tomato seedlings. Another black ‘background’ shot - not really a background at all - there is a wall and a chair and a cardboard box there, you just can’t see it because of the camera settings!

This time I used a large reflector attached to the flash gun to provide a more even light across the plant.

Also included an extra of a thrush singing away sitting on a power line pole stay cable. The early morning sun (which didn’t last long) was illuminating the bird against the hazy blue sky.

Mrs madwill is happy as she has her new sewing machine…
