Golden, but not a daffodil. Taken at the entrance to the Wordsworth Daffodil Garden in Grasmere.

Today marks the start of week 8 of lockdown in the UK. Tomorrow restrictions are being relaxed in England allowing people to drive long distances to places, including National Parks and coasts, for their daily exercise. I can imagine Grasmere being as quiet today as in William Wordsworth's time. It may change very soon.

I couldn't get the wifi to work on my laptop this morning. My husband suggested connecting direct to the router and the internet worked fine but I don't want to be tied to the desk. Think I have a plan.

Later I discovered my car battery was flat again so it was another jump lead start followed by a drive.
