Today was better than Monday. Much better.

The highlight as far as work is concerned was giving urgent advice to someone - who is in a very stressful situation - about the CV 19 restrictions. She had tried the police, and the health service, and the local authority, but no-one knew the answer. I found it for her in 5 minutes, thanks to the daily written briefings we get. 

Like being a lawyer, this job is not about trying to know it all, but about knowing where to find answers. She'll probably get arrested, and I will get the blame, so watch this space. 

It rained hard for about 20 minutes at 5pm, so that meant no garden work tonight. It is still cold too - Blip has shown me pictures of snow in Orkney. 

I took delivery of another food parcel from the Last Wife, so that takes care of the kitchen department for a few days. A lot will go in the freezer now it has cooled. 

It was a chance to catch up on gossip with the delivery driver too.
