'Underneath the spreading Chestnut tree'

...... are looking their best ...... vivid lime green with no brown withering marks to be seen.

I hadn't realised that there were so many horse chestnut trees in Pollok Park. Many have some low branches which tend to spread across the paths.

As I was walking back to my car I spotted, in the distance, a figure I know well and sure enough it was my sister. I had spotted her before she saw me ..... I was tempted to hide behind a tree but thought better of it! Nice to have a chat even if it was rather brief.
