Roses are red

It was my birthday last week and although I had requested that there be no presents this year my canine pal Togbe sent a box of flowers which arrived by post.

Roses and Alstromeria which looked rather wilted when I opened the box but after a good drink they now look super sitting on my kitchen window sill.
