Just waiting for the new arrivals

I had an appointment for an x-ray at our local hospital this morning so after finding a space in the car park I had time to walk along the road to Queens Park.

I was hoping that there might have been some cygnets but Mrs Swan, who was having a little paddle around, will have to stay on her nest for a little longer.

A pleasant surprise when I arrived home ..... my gardening boys were hard at work with lawnmower, hoe and weed killer for the paths.
