An oasis of green.......

...... in the heart of the Garnethill area and very near to the Glasgow School of Art. Compared to many Glasgow Parks this nicely landscaped wee patch of green could be called an urban park.

It was opened in October 1991 and if I had walked a little further I would have seen the plaque at the corner of Hill Street and Rose Street which commemorates a visit to the park by the late Princess of Wales in December 1991.

A new find for me as I made my way from Cowcaddens subway station to Mandors, the fabric shop where I bought some material for my latest patchwork project.
