Brooch by Les Howe

Silversmith Les Howe, from Co Durham, takes much of his inspiration for designs from the Lindisfarne Gospels and Durham Cathedral. He was commissioned to make a brooch for the Queen during her recent visit to Tyneside.
Les is particularly interested in Celtic themes. The hallmark on the brooch is Sheffield 1996.
