A NZ small field cricket. This is a first for me. I’ve photographed grasshoppers and weta, but not a cricket. The long ovipositor indicates she is a female. She was on the mat in the greenhouse and I couldn’t get close to her so there’s not as much detail as I hoped for.  The body length was about 7mm.

Covid-19  Today was our first day at Level 2 when most of the lockdown rules have been relaxed. No doubt the change in the towns and cities was dramatic. Here in the country the big difference was the huge increase in the number of cars and other small vehicles on the highway. During the higher levels of lockdown it was mostly big trucks on the road.
