Tasman...

……………………Sculpture

This sculpture is at the entrance to the small community of Tasman, near Motueka, NZ. It features the various sea birds found in the nearby estuary.

Now that NZ has moved down to Alert Level 2 it is permissible to drive further afield so we drove to Kina Peninsular to enjoy a walk along the stony beach. It was sunny, quiet and peaceful.

Before leaving Kina we watched the sun dip behind the Western Ranges, then stopped at this sculpture using the colour of the sunset as a backdrop. Today I adjusted the in-camera white shift balance to slightly intensify the colours filling the sky.

Thank you for the comments, stars and hearts for yesterday’s pre sunrise colour. Cloud cover increased during the day, but there was no rain and weak sunshine put in a breif appearance late in the day.
