5/13 Baltimore Oriole

This male Baltimore Oriole (Icterus galbula) is among a bevy of orioles visiting the jelly feeder in my yard the last week or two. They will be around another month and in the blink of an eye, they are gone. They are still here, nesting somewhere, but they do not visit the jelly feeder after a month or so. Perhaps it's because they need the energy the jelly provides (they LOVE grape) when the air is cold but once it warms it is no longer necessary. In any case, when present, his glorious colors liven the dull hues of Spring. Once gone, the House Finches will play at the jelly feeder. It's an endless source of amusement watching out of the kitchen window while sipping my morning coffee.
FYI....the Exif details say it was shot at 600mm...but it neglects to mention that the  D500 has 1.5x crop factor so the focal length is really 900mm (600 x 1.5 = 900). Also, it was shot through the kitchen window...thus the lack of sharpness.
