Foliage

A lazy morning before Sainsbury’s arrived and once that was dealt with I just had time to take a few photos in the garden before the walkies cry went up! As it was a nice day we/she decided on a long walk and headed for Doon Hill...having circumnavigated it we decided not to climb to the top but carry on the road we were on down to the A1, cross over and head home making a circular route...about 5 miles or so in total.

The extra is the view from the base of Doon Hill looking down the coast and encompasses Barns Ness lighthouse, Tarmac Cement Works, Viridor Waste Management Site and Torness Power Station...not the prettiest view in the neighbourhood!

Once home I made a couple of quiche and a huge stir fry for tea...I’ll be enjoying a relaxing evening now.

I’ve combined two ICM images in Snapseed to get today’s blip...one horizontal, and one vertical of a variegated conifer in the garden.

Thanks to Ingeborg for hosting Abstract Thursday.
