Tirrick in Toon

A windy day, calming this evening.  Mostly cloudy, some sunny spells, and then some showers this evening.

Another day scanning photos at the picnic table desk.  I also had photo orders to get ready, and then nipped into town to drop them off.  Some walkies with Sammy this evening, and spoke with friend Peter Pogo from his window.  Some telly, and feet up for the night.

Me and Sammy had a peerie walk around town when dropping off the photo order.  All sorts of sounds and smells of summer are arriving, including the delightful chirp of the Tirricks (Arctic Tern).  They've had a few poor years breeding, and numbers dropping, due to a lack of food.  There was a great photo of a tirrick with a big fat juicy sand eel last week, so fingers crossed they will have a great year this year, and a lack of people around might help too.  Taken at the Smaa Dock, Lerwick.
