Long day

Early start to head to Aberdeen this morning to empty out Miss PHL’s room in her flat. The lease is up on Monday so one flat mate went up on Monday and the other is going on Sunday so we had to go today.

We made excellent time as the roads were thankfully quiet and arrived before 11. Whilst she packed up her room I cleaned the living room - 3 leatherette sofas and 3 girls with long hair - you wouldn’t think it would be that messy? Hair everywhere and it didn’t look like the sofa cushions had been moved in a long time. 4 floor to ceiling windows to be washed and cleaned (inside only as they are 4 floors up) and various tables, desks and shelves and 2 hours later I was done.

Quick break for a sandwich and into the kitchen before tacking her en-suite - we finally finished around 3.30.
Several trips up and down to the car and we finally squeezed everything in.

I drove there and she drove back - first experience of not being able to use the real view mirror and she did very well. We were home for around 6.30 so time for tea before the clap for the NHS.

We’ve both had baths as we were quite stiff after all the bending and stretching and the hours of sitting in the car.
