Mum

Here is my mum on the left, when she was 18 or just nearly. It is Hodges in Cowdenbeath and she loved it there. She had to leave and become a clippie on the buses. My gran made her as they needed the extra money

I was allowed to visit my mum today. I was able to stay as long as I liked but after 2 1/2 hours I was ready to leave.

She slept a lot, wriggled around- I think because her legs hurt so much, and woke occasionally only to say something incoherent and then fell asleep again. I now cannot see her for 7 days unless she declines and the end is near.

I was able to say goodbye and tell her I loved her as she shooed me away.

I love the fact the doctor I spoke to said she was feisty. Yup she sure is.
