Yew tree Avenue

We took the tandem out this morning. After cycling to the cafe for take outs and finding it closed we cycled on. Mr PB mentioned we were close to the Yew Tree Avenue so I suggested we take a detour and head up there.

It's quite magnificent. Over 200 years old, with 150 clipped yew trees in all sorts of shapes and sizes. It was the drive way leading up to Clipsham Hall.

We had our picnic and then had a tail wind to Stamford, where we got coffee, and then enjoyed the route home.

My mum is medically unchanged but a little brighter in herself. My sister has arrived from London.
